Compressor study (windows VST)

Definately going to give this thing a spin later. Adding a lowpass sidechain filter option would make this thing conplete.

After an insanely long beta phase, I am proud to announce the final version of the Feedback Compressor II.

Changes since beta 9:

- Overall performance improvements (about ~6% less cpu load)
- Small stability improvements
- Additional presets by Dax Linière
- Mono edition

Known issues:

- SSE2 required
- Mac VST/AU requires OS-X 10.6 or above

Spread the word!

great, I'm trying it out now! How would you describe the TDR I vs. II?

EDIT: I also tried the mono version. My host is FL studio 10 and the mono plug is not centered, it's playing only out of the left side.

Oh, good point. I expected most DAWs to handle mono plug-ins as true mono channels and to whatever routing necessary? However, it sounds like a possible future fix. FL is always bitching around. ;)

Version II is a completely new concept. It's complicated, check the manual! :) In short, the old one was an adjustable RMS compressor. The new one is a "clever" peak and RMS hybrid, and runs at a very high rate internally. It's a different compressor, not just a new "version".
