Whats up again FP? My question this time is pertaining to bassline quality. I have been trying to figure out what separates the good bass from the clean, crisp, professional sounding bass. So far the only answer I have been getting is that its all in the mixing. I have tried several methods for giving it that "sound". Its kind of hard to explain. For example, if you listen to a vybe beat, his basslines and kicks are ON POINT, they just sound so clear. Is this done by just EQ? I have tried playing around with that and get some results, but it still just doesnt compare. Listen to the second track on my page and you will see that my bass/kicks are decent, but there is something major missing that makes it only sound average.

Can someone enlighten me on this?
