Anybody know what programs Johnny Juliano & Vibe Beatz use?

Whats up yall, I'm new to this forum. I been producing for quite some time now and I've noticed that there are only a select few producers who know how to make every beat sound pure, rich, loud and crisp like they have been professionally mixed. Knowing how to mix is a huge part of being a producer. I got that part. However, there is a technique used either in the mixing process with compression or in the mastering process that make Johnny Juliano and Vybe Beatz tracks sound loud, crisp and controlled. I haven't figured it out, Does anybody know?

it's in mastering, and heavy limiting is being used. I'm sure they use multiple limiters. It makes it less noticeable and sounds less labored.

Isnt Johnny Juliani that cat on youtube that does beatmaking videos on his Korg M3 workstation? In other words, I think he uses hardware.

his mixes are "bright". Sounds like he uses a HPF on all his instruments except for bass and kick

Does it really? I always thought it would come out the same but i'm seeing this method more often now. Anyways I never really use limiting and if I do it's to bring the entire track level up so there's never more than 1-2db gain reduction happening at any time. But I think I understand why this would work if your using the limiting to get your mixes LOUD.

Just like Over Dose said, the key is in the mastering, limiting and frequencies adjustments during the mix. It is not found in a VST or a DAW...it is found in knowledge! He uses a Korg, FL Studio and I have seen him use a Fantom too and like most producers, he uses a lot of different things.

Try it. You'll notice a huge difference!

What do you mean by the only time you use a limiter is to bring up the entire track level up? Are you using it for mixing? I'd advise against that. Just turn up your fader, you might have to duplicate a track to keep it from clipping.

    Limiters are a "mastering" tool.

Try Izotope's Ozone 4! I hear a lot of people saying Ozone is garbage. But I find it a great mastering plug-in with M/S processing for E.Q. Multiband compression, and reverb (although the reverb itself sucks).

I agree with you about Ozone 4. When tweaked the right way its pretty useful.
