    Advanced Vocal Effects

Anyone know of any books or websites that teach advanced vocal effects. I've started a voice over gig and would like to increase my knowledge of effects that I can use to make the audio commercials more attractive. I'm searching for tips, tricks for the vocal effects that are commonly used on audio commercials, dj mix tapex, etc. Thanks in advance.

The effects and dynamics are pretty much the same for audio recording and broadcast recording industries. However, mixers, mics etc, ie hardware, can change. But it's down to technique and knowledge more than anything else. The effects will pretty much stay the same but dynamics will be slightly different, albeit not much.

You could learn about effects/dynamics and then try to transgress that knowledge across to the broadcasting industry.

I suggest you explore the BBC site for deeper information.

There are other resources available but I would start at the BBC and then think about all the subscriptions for white papers etc.
