    Question Adobe Audition

Hello everybody I am new here and I couldn't find anything on this so I decided to post.

Does anybody know what effects are best to use for mixing/editing rap vocals?

I usually use the Noise reduction then the Single Band Compressor and then the vocal enhancer but I was wondering if there was any other things I should do? And also if anyone who is experienced with it, if they could teach me more in depth. I am recording with a Audio Technica Mic that has decent quality.

    Thank You!

De-essers and a touch of reverb sometimes for that "Room Ambience" can also be a plus. At the end of the day is all down to how well recorded your stuff is, the mic and voice play a role as well.
