Sidechain reverb to duck when the synth is playing.

Anyone know how to do this in FL 12 as a send channel? I can do it as an insert but I have to send the sidechain via fruity limiter to a specific insert separately and not as a send before I can do it? Thanks

I don't actually know how this works in FL but you should just be able to put the limiter on the send track with the reverb and sidechain anything to it, just like you would on a midi or audio track.

i do it with the peak controller, basically the midi of the synth will act as the trigger

load up the peak controller in the mixer then a reverb and set the reverb to be big and long (both on same channel)
assign your synth to that channel
next to the reverb name on the mixer right click the mix level dial and select link to controller
in the next box pick the input as peak and inverted slope
open up the peak controller and in the top half raise the tns bar to ^, base full left, volume full right then adjust the decay to what fits your bpm
lowering the volume and tns can soften the effect so play around with it
