Saffire 6 with WA12 or Apogee Duet with FireWire

So I am currently recording vocals just using my Saffire 6 pres using a at3035 and bluebird. My question is does anyone think I would get drastically improved recordings through a warm audio wa 12. And if so would I be better off going with just an apogee duet by itself or adding the wa12 to my current setup. Any help is appreciated

It'll be slightly nicer, because that's pretty much the thing with preamps - they don't make drastic changes, but rather small tonal shifts. Not that it won't be better, but if you think there's something wrong with what you're currently getting (as opposed to just lacking something a bit), it's not gonna be fixed by it. The mic, the room & the performer are all much more drastic things to make changes with
