Whaddup Board,
Quick question:

I record in an open room and my vocal tracks already have some echo in them before I apply any effects, is there a setting in Wavs Platinum that can remove that echo or deaden it?

Thanks in advance for the help..I know there's a vst that you can use for this but I just cant find it.

No can do...that's why, if anything, you want to record as dry and dead as you can. If your room "personality" isn't worth capturing, get rid of it *before* recording and create a room artificially later, in the mix stage.

Quite simply: you need to sort your room out. Acoustic treatment is the answer, or build a booth for vocals that is non reflective, because that is what you are experiencing.
