Hey everyone....I just picked up my RCA Audio Cables, and I have it ran from the back of my mixer (output / rec) and I have it going to a Y-Chain > Female adapter > into the "LINE IN" on my Soundblaster Card.
Now, do I need special software that will record as I am playing, like and "acid style" program, or "sound forge", or can I get away with Windows Recorder?
SETUP AGAIN, sorry if my termanology isn't the best
1. RCA Cable >
2. Y Extender (takes rca a puts it into 1 cable) >
3. Female Adapter (large plug to "headphone" size plug) >
4. To The Line In on the Sound Card
I am brand new to to recording through the computer, so any advice / tips is appreciated...thanks in advance.
