Hi guys so first time posting in this forum long time lurker. Have been slowly getting more and more time invested into making music pretty much straight up on my iPad using all digital instruments and sampling from other apps. Now obviously I know the rules on getting a mix ready and making sure you take all the effects off synths and vocals etc.
My question is this. If I'm making beats say on GarageBand on my iPad which has its own mixer but I'll be honest it's kinda really limited in options, am I better off learning how to mix off that or am I just plain better off just literally making the song and sending it into someone who can mix it for me even if it's a rough mix before I SoundCloud it.
