Quick Question - Vocal fx or Vocal Processor?

Hey everyone so I been just listening to one of the Hip-Hop songs that I been listening too alot lately and I am wondering if any one of you could clear my mind.

so this track is called 'Callus by Super Slackas'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PLeZTqE298

and the hook (0:10-0:30) is mystery to me.

did they use a vocal effect or processor that makes the hook sound the way it sounds? I mean, it sounds doubled to me of course but my friend whos been mixing for a while says its only one vocal track thats been through a vocal processor or vocal fx.

in case anyone here have any idea what it is and maybe could reccomment what plugin or processor I should look out for, then I'd really appreciate that.

thanks.

There are numerous "vocal doubler" effects, one of the more popular ones being the Waves Doubler. Whether you want to call it a "processor" or "fx" is purely down to semantics :)

thanks for that, I will look some up. But by listening to this track you couldnt tell what has been used right? I'm trynna work myself to sound as professional as these guys.
