So recently I've sent a beat to someone and the problem is, is that compared to his other tracks the one with my beat sounds quieter. I realize that this probably has to do with the mix but could someone explain specifically why because the way I see it If everyone masters their beat to make it loud as possible how come my beat (when vocals are added) sounds so quiet? This may be a repetitive beginner question but I really need to ask this so I can avoid it in the future.
