Question involving pitch correction in real time vocal recording

Hello fellow producers,

I've never been the type to get behind the mic but recently I acquired one and would love to record myself, however, I hate the sound of my voice but absolutely love how modern day low pitched vocals sound. for example A$AP Rocky and Paper Platoon

Now I use two DAWs FL Studio 11 and Reason 5

Where do I go from here in order to live record the input and at the same time modify the pitch and mutation?

BTW I do have the mic setup (ex. I can record my voice in Edison on FL and pitch correct after the recording)

Thanks,

I would avoid what you are trying to do and just record the vocals without processing.

Then use the tools to do it right whilst at the same time having the untreated vocals in case things go wrong

i.e. have a recovery option available instead of do it again and again and again and ..... when you don't get it right

Most people hate their voice via a mic 'cause there's no reverb in it, and that's unnatural.

We are used to sounds with reverbs. Everything has reverb.

So use a reverb during tracking, and disable it during playback.

Let me know if that helps!
