pro tools bouncing

when bouncing a session to an audio file on pc what is the best format to use? because my mixes seem cloudy and it takes so long to bounce them i dont want to try every format if someone knows the answer.
 
For CD quality you want a 16bit, 44.1khz sample rate, stereo interleaved .wav file.
