Im pretty happy with the mix of my songs however one small gripe is I notice when using the adaptive limiter during the mastering stage, the kick almost supresses the vocals every time it hits. It almost sounds like the vocals are sidechained to the kick but its not. I dont know how to remedy this issue without losing fullness and punch of the kick. Let me know if you hear it or if I'm just crazy:
Sounds like it's clipping like hell, even with the limiter...which basically means that at least the drums are wayyy too loud...but of course there isn't a simple one-stop answer on how to fix it. But for a short answer, pull everything down and re-set the levels so it's not clipping, then make space for the elements that need to push through to get them relatively louder compared to other elements. The long answer would fill a book or two
