Hi all. Just wondering what the correct sequence is for powering equipment on/off. I have a 12-channel powered mixer which my headphones (Sony MDR-V6) and monitors (pair of KRK RP5's) are plugged into. So it's:
PC -> Interface (M-Audio Delta 1010LT PCI) -> Mixer -> Headphones & Monitors
Should I turn the PC on first, then mixer, the monitors? Or ... ? I tend to turn the PC on, then the mixer, then the monitors as needed (I don't/can't always use them). I often notice, when turning the mixer on AFTER the PC, that the headphones have a real quick pop/click sound.
Sorry if this is a silly question. But I'd rather ask and not damage any equipment, if that's what could happen...
