I have a few nice electronic drum kits, but as usual some have nice kicks and some have alien claps, in short is it possible to pick and mix samples from different drum kits without incurring in out of phase or frequencies issues? I'm aware that if it sounds good it sounds good, although I found that sometimes objectivity plays still a big part in consolidating a professional drum kit, made with care by professionals in an state of art studio.
I have basically 3 drum kits, I want to combine them together. What are the risks?
