Hey everyone I’m a music producer from Rhode Island and I was just wondering what is the best EQ plug in to put on vocals and also on drums. I was thinking about the Waves API 550A for Vocals and Waves API 560 for the drums. Can someone tell me if this is a great choice for vocals and drums. Thanks everyone

There's nothing like 'the best EQ (or whatever) for blablabla'.

I like API EQs on drums if getting a little extra punch is the goal.

If I'm going for some more smoothness on any signal I try Neve EQs besides some others.

So my recommendation is to try out everything you can get your hands on and find out what's working best for you.

Depends on the song and the type of music also what program your recording with .if your using pro tools lots of eq built into the program , another important part for quality of sound is what recording mic your using . I use the australian rode mic top quality sound for vocals expensive but very good . If you go to their website check them out ,pro tools and a mic this you get a quality recording. Have to watch out for latency as well when you record
