Mixed and mastered sound kits??

Will it be better to create tracks with sounds (kick,snare,hi-hats, etc) that are already mixed and mastered?

I'm trying to understand the purpose of making a track with high quality sounds; if I'm going to have to mix and master the track later.

Any decent sound kits samples will already be clean etc. You can't master a single sound. Recording mixing and mastering are all different.

Using top quality bricks doesn't mean you will have a good house

The purpose would be...high quality. Mixing can possibly fix some things, but if you start with shitty sounds it's a polishing the turd situation, no matter which fancy gear or plugins you end up using.

all sounds are sources. they are then arranged into content (your track)

great sources -> easier to mix
lousy sources -> harder to mix but can be done

good content -> polishing gold/silver/copper etc
lousy content -> polishing turds

Thank you fellow producers on your insight regarding this topic. Me and some friends were having this debate and I wanted to see other opinions regarding this topic.
