Logic Slowing Down Imported Audio???!!

Need some help here.. so I was sent a nuendo sessiont hat has about 60+ vocal tracks. I want to move it to logic so that I can mix since pro tools LE is limited # of tracks.. so i imported all the audio, why are all the vocals slowed down?? When I play it normally, or If i jsut check each audio file in itunes, they sound fine, soon as I drag them into logic- boom slowed down.. sounds like im about to mix a screwed and choped song lol.. Any idea? probably something simple, but I've never recorded/mixed in logic and wanted to try it out. (I adjusted tempo too- donno if this makes a difference) *using logic pro 8.

You're working at a certain sample rate in logic, you imported files with a higher sample rate, the files are playing at the higher sample rates at a slower sample rate and so they sound slow. Set the correct sample rate ot sample convert, the one you do depends on what you're doing and what you need.
