how does converting 2116kbps wav files to 1441kbps AIFF files effect my audio quality

From my research 2116 kbps means that their bit depth is 32. So before I converted them I looked to see if I can convert to 32 AIFF, but didn't find the option in iTunes. Only 16, and 24.

How does this effect audio quality?

Also, how will this apply to when I bounce my master? what should I know when I bounce to 24 now, or maybe I'll be bouncing down to 16?

Is there any difference in the conversion from 2116kbps to 1441kbps?
Cheers!

You will have to make compromises for various formats. Make the best master you can; any further developments will be based on that high-quality master.

Try to keep the audio quality as high as possible during the whole production process. Just down convert at the very last step for the diffusion on different formats.

From what I've read is that it is the same audio quality, BUT I see that iTunes couldn't convert to 32 bit. The samples at 2116 are 32 bit. So, since iTunes converted them to 24 AIFF, is there any difference in quality? I'm sure if there it is un noticeable.
