The "steps" to mastering are basically the same no matter what you're using...
1) Listen to the mix(es) as with blank objectivity (this is why most people, M.E.'s included, come up short trying to master their own mixes)
2) Mentally and realistically visualize the potential in the mix
3) Assemble a processing chain (if needed) that will realize that potential
4) Tweak the mix(es) based on the chain
5) Sequence the mixes in a PQ editor, burn, log, and BLER test to insure RedBook compliancy.
