how do I mix an instrumental based on a sample loop? (roc marciano/darigner type)

Hi,
I would like to understand how to mix an instrumental formed by a sample loop, for example the beats of roc marciano or daringer, which are often composed of a loop containing already drums, bass, melody etc ..

how do I get the bass out and the drums out of the sample loop?

I often divide the sample loop into two tracks: one with the low frequencies and one with the high ones, in this way I can emphasize the bass a little but the drums get lost, it's not beautiful.

So I would like to understand how to move to get a result like this for example:
Roc Marciano - Hide My Tears

This is the original sample:
[h=1]Smoked Sugar - Keeping Up My Front[/h]
thanks

I don't get it - I don't really hear anything being removed in the Roc Marciano track, it's just slightly pitched down but everything's still there, albeit crudely eq'd in the low end to be louder.
