How Do I Get a Hard Dark 808 (Like Night Lovell, Bones, etc)?

I'm trying to figure out how people get this punchy, prominent 808 sound. I'm not able to post links because I haven't made five posts, but just look up "HDMI" by Bones, "Severed Arm" by Fifty Grand (I feel like this one is mostly sidechaining a punchy kick to a sine, but still having trouble getting something similar), or "Divergent" by MikeXanax.

i know that the Lugers Revenge pack has an 808 similar to that one. you could try some overdrive and saturation with a lowpass on some 808s too
