Help with mixing low end like this.

Hey guys, first post here on the site!

How would you go about mixing bass where it naturally has that "sub" sound to it where those frequencies are really sticking out in the mix? Very cleanly too and only on the bass guitar. A great example is here at 3:42

and here at 0:25

Sounds like it has some low-mids cut out pretty drastically. Perhaps around 200-400hz. Common practice for bass guitars.

Also, it has some upper-mids boosted. Like between 1khz and 2khz.

And it definitely sounds compressed.

That bass guitar sound also relies heavily on the instruments around it being mixed out of the way of it. So they're high pass filtered & shit to clear it up, leaving room for the bass guitar to shine.
