Frequency Issue

I'm new to mixing and producing, so I had a question which is probably pretty basic to a lot of you.
I'm rapping over an instrumental and a certain sound isn't played when my headphones are plugged in through my Blue Yeti Mic. When I plug them into my laptop directly via the aux port, I can hear it just fine. This leads me to believe it's a frequency issue

I am left wondering why this is so, and, more importantly, how you can demonstrate this problem to us with audio clips - i.e. suer we can hear your original audio you are trying to record to by you simply exporting your session from Audacity, but the signal you are getting at the yeti will be more tricky to capture if not impossible....

do you have a second computer that you could connect the headphone out of the yeti into and record to audacity on that?

this might even help you identify the issue before sharing the files with us....
