So I just bought a bunch of gear, and, while it was a necessary, big step, I am having some probs.
I bought a Scarlett 18i20 interface, FLS12 and Yamaha HS8 monitors. I know enough to say everything is setup correctly. I can get inputs to make it all the way through the monitors at recording time; additionally, if I import someone else's correctly arranged and completed FLS files into FLS12, then I can get playback through the monitors. This tells me the setup is functional, and errors are coming from my configuration settings.
The problem is, I'm not getting any playback through the monitors from the samples I record myself, so - while it is a generally stated question - can anyone give me some idea of what I might be check to make sure my settings are correct?
