Filter/Pitch/envelope based modulation?

What is a good way to Filter/Pitch/envelope modulate/effect sounds in Ableton 9?

I can achieve this in Reason 5 with a preset combination of automated effects but i can't figure out what exactly is going in in this preset.

It depends on the device that you are using (sampler, simpler, drumrack, etc.) that will determine it's standalone capabilities, but you can always employ envelopes to modulate just about anything to be applied to the tracks themselves. You can achieve the exact results on the soundbyte with a little time spent getting to know the ableton interface.

You can do quite a bit of stuff just using the drumrack device. I'm sure there's tutorials on youtube that will show you exactly what you are looking to do.
