Doubling track in ableton, phasing issue

Hey, it's part of my personal technique (i make sample based hiphop) to double the track with the sample and eq and process the second track for a lightly different sound, layered.
I have done this countless times in Reason (having 3 or 4 layers of the same sample at times) with no issues wat so ever.

Moving to ableton as soon as I try to double the track i get a phasing issue and I can't seem to get around it. It's very annoying, does anyone know the solution to this?

We have had this issue with stacking the Kicks. have you tried to use two different kicks with similar properties and do some math with the eq to let them jive together?

Kicks sometimes need to be trimmed down some so the tailing frequencies do not collide.

Just a hint, hope it helps.
