Cubase saving too much!

Cubase LE keeps saving all my audio recodings.

I record, mess up, then hit the delete key and start recording again. It saves all my recordings to my audio file, I find the correct audio, then delete all the mess ups manually.

Is there a way to easily have these mess ups deleted?

The easier and also better way to do it is to get familiar with the pool.

Here you can "remove unused audio files" which sends files to the cubase trash and "empty trash" to permanently remove the audio files from your hard drive.

I usually don't do this until I am done with a tracking session in case I need to go back to a take.

LOL! I forgot all about the pool. I read through the manual and everything, its just hard to keep everything in your head.

a easier way is to do File Save Project To New Folder, Select the new folder,a box will pop op, name the seesion if you have to then click on the button that say sumthin like, removed unused audio,..sumthin like that, and it will only save your tracks that you kept
