Can somebody evaluate the mixing/mastering on this beat?

The mix is good. The snare needs some amping, but thats a minor issue with an easy fix.
The masters tone and clarity is good but your volume is nowhere near your contemporaries.
You're real close brutha.
 
I feel like something is off other than that. It doesn't help that I'm comparing it to pro, studio albums. I feel like I need to change something about the kick, which so far is just compressed. Does anybody send it to two tracks and send them left and right to widen it? Or is that just dumb?

I'm using pro tools, so any program specific techniques are welcomed
