hey wassup, im new at eq and mastering, and i just wanted to no, how do you make your claps and other isntruments blend in with ur track, is it with compression ? if so can i do that on Fl or am i gona need sumin else. Let me no, thanx peace.

Years of experience And I believe you're referring to mixing, not mastering. You shouldn't be "blending" anything in the mastering stage...we call that second-guessing your mix.

But to answer your question, it's all about careful mixing and spacial placement. Automation is key (sometimes called a volume envelope?). Avoid compression and limiting unless you absolutely need it (that said, there is a time and a place for everything).
