I almost completed an album but then my computer died and I needed a new one. I thought "Whilst I'm at it I'll upgrade everything else I have" This album was written with Logic pros standard library that you get included. It's pretty.... Well I felt I could get a lot out of it, but....crap.
So I bought tonnes of Native instruments and Impact Soundworks and 8Dio VSTs and what else to improve my sound library and as you can imagine, the sound is vastly superior. So now I want to go back to these old tracks, but simply changing the VST and fiddling about with automation doesn't really work. It just doesn't really... fit. I sort of feel like the only way this would work is to re-create the tracks from scratch, using the old ones as templates.
But before i go ahead and do this, which would probably take a few months with 10 tracks to look at, wondered if there was anything else I could try first.
