Ableton return tracks

Hello, I am trying to figure out the easiest way to have my return track play first with the return effects......from my clip with my sample/or midi info.


Hope this makes sense.

I can understand when using return tracks for post effects on the clip, but how can I can just play the return effect only, and not the actual channel(ghost)???????????????

You can set the ghost tracks output to "Sends Only" from the Audio To dropdown.
