Windows Movie Maker - Losing Quality even at highest audio setting! Help!!

Hello,

I am making a video for one of my beats to post on Youtube. Because YT will degrade my quality, I don't want it to be degraded even before I upload it.

I put a .WAV of my beat over some pictures. I rendered the audio using the custom option to the highest possible @48kHZ and 128kbps. The movie is rendered as MPEG4 H.264.

I am noticing the rendered video is losing some of the high end shine compared to the original wav and I am certain because I am comparing them both quickly one after another. Any advice? Are the better programs for this? Thank you!

Also if anyone can clarify this quote from Izotope mastering tips:

"Why not upload a .MOV with uncompressed audio? For best results, YouTube actually recommends uploading media that is already encoded, rather than uploading a .MOV that contains a full quality .WAV file."

If I save my movie as h.264 does that mean I am encoding it? .MOV with uncompressed audio means audio in .WAV as opposed to something like mp3 right? Then why does it say not to upload a .MOV that contains a .WAV? :S
