I agree with everyone so far, I like adobe premiere its good for clipping videos and has sum prettty cool preset effects, and after effects is really good but it takes a second to learn because its a very professional program. But if you can master after effects it will help you out a lot!

I personally agree with the rest of the posts. Pro's mostly use Final Cut Pro and Premiere, but it all comes down to what YOU need, and what program offers that best for YOU!

I'd go with iMovie (if you have a mac) or Animoto. There's a free version but I think the videos are watermarked... you can get a free trial though. after that, it's $5/month
