Awards

• Winning videos will be released for US distribution in July 2011 to more than 7 million monthly viewers in more than 30 major US cities to coincide with a Remix Competition release.
• Video installations include a display banner which will feature promotional information on the Video and Remix Contest Winners. Installation locations include McDonalds, Wendy’s, KFC, Taco Bell, Denny’s, Hardee’s, Carl’s Jr., Arby’s, Del Taco and CiCi’s Pizzas in major US Cities.
• Winning entries will receive a special feature page on the Roja Records website.
• Exceptional video producers will be welcomed into the Roja Family and included in future Roja Records projects.

Video specifications
• Video content must be 100% original.
• If models are used, a copy of the signed model release form must be included with video submission.
• Video length must be exactly 3:20 minutes.
• Video must be PG and suitable for a family viewing audience.
• Video cannot contain depiction of violence, nudity, overt sexuality, drugs, alcohol, smoking or other socially scrutinized behaviors that would not be considered family appropriate.
• Video must include a text intro and outro:

Rules
“Island Symphony Radio Edit” required for video is available exclusively at Beatport.
• Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Entrants must sign and return a Roja Records Artist Agreement prior to release.
• Winning entrants agree to supply and authorize their press images and bio information to be used for publicity and promotional purposes.
• All submissions must be received by 12:00 pm E.S.T. June 14, 2011 via email with a download link to: visit Roja Records website for contact details.
• Entrants may submit more than one video.
• Contest is open to all countries.
• Winning entries will be selected by a panel of industry veterans which includes the owners of Roja Records and Crescent Records on June 14, 2011.
• Entries that fail to adhere completely to the Submission Guidelines will be disqualified.

• Please, do not submit partial or unfinished work.
• When submitting your video link, you must include:
1. contact email
2. phone number
3. artist web links
4. Beatport Island Symphony Radio Edit purchase receipt number
• Always keep a copy of the final production session on a hard disk for back-up as you may be asked to make minor edits if selected.

Roja Records is proud to announce the winners of the Gotta Groove - WMC 2011 Remix Competition which began December 18, 2010. Candidates had a short window of time to showcase their skills and demonstrate their value as a remixer by delivering a quality track that best represents the House sound of Roja Records by January 18, 2011.

Congratulations to Phil Phonic (Kiel, Germany), Lowas (Vällingby, Sweden), Kevin Cowens (Villers La Ville, Belgium), Kurt Wöhle (South Australia, Australia), Darien Dinnov (Tirana, Albania) and Jester & Audiotoxin (Sarasota, Florida). Joining the contest winners on this release are remixes from three Roja Records veteran producers; Patrick Grau (Ibiza, Spain), dj Rigi (Porto, Portugal) and Kriss Dek (Brussels, Belgium).

The winning submissions were released February 10, 2011 on the “Gotta Groove – The Remixes Vol. 2” album as a two week exclusive on Beatport.com before releasing on all other retailers including Juno, Traxsource, TrackItDown, iTunes, Amazon and 200 other online retailers.
