Ayman Elgadi

Hello,
My name is Ayman Elgadi, I am an unsigned independent rapper. I was born in Khartoum, Sudan and grew up in Amherst, Massachusetts. This track "Lifted" is the 4th video off my album Blame Yourself. This is a melodic hip hop / rap song about smoking weed, having fun, exploring, and success. The beat was produced by SpacedOutDoonie. I am releasing my album one video at a time as episodes that document my life. I hope you enjoy the song and video!

Song is okay, even though it's not my kind of trap that i usually listen to.
Music video...I am aware this song is about smoking weed and shit like that, but there's too much of you smoking and smoking, lol. I'm also aware it's not that easy to make a video for song, but I would try something else. Some videos make me listen and watch over and over again, but here once was enough.
Looking forward for your next videos!

Blame Yourself Is my visual album that I am releasing one video at a time for each song as episodes that document my life as it happens. Its not what you usually see from music videos, plus everything is shot by myself. Think of it as a musical documentary/ vlog. I appreciate you playing it, I make melodic hip hop, it isn't for everyone. Each video showcases a part of my personality, and this one was smoking. Feel free to watch the 3 videos before this

I like the scenes where you are alone, like thinking about something, like the ones where you are in the swing. The song, sounds darker than the video thou, low lights, indoor, blue/ dark purple backgrounds would fit better than just sitting around at the neighborhood or jumping in the forest.

IMHO you should try to get more "out of the manual" stuff, nothing expensive thou, just to make the video stand out in some manner, i don't know how to explain it, its like watching a simple video about a performance, not the actual videoclip of the song.

I like it overall, and I like your sound too, also the song in the video you play at the end of this one.

Song could be better and the editing as well. Felt the scenes stayed a little too long.. Stay up homie and keep it going

Props to you for doing it all alone. I reckon the close up shots work much better than the wide angles.

I would suggest that next time you should get some moving shots into the video. Every shot in your video was just set on a tripod and had no movement. I think if you add movement to your video it'll definitely make a difference.

Everything is cool, but its not great. I feel it was a little boring, try to get some friends to help you with the video, weather it be actually in the video, different angles or perspectives instead of just using the camera's tripod as a still shot. Every video looks more exciting with a couple of randoms, lol. Or even tell a story like do a little acting within the video instead of you staying your lyrics. Because from what I'm reading your saying that you are telling the story of your life as it goes, so maybe act some out within your videos. Let me know if this helps! Keep working
