Great lyrics. I think you could dress up the video a bit by adding some post-processing effects, especially to the shots with you on the white background. The simplicity of the shot is cool and I think it would be cooler if you gave it an overexposed look, or cranked the contrast way up, or tried some sections in black and white. Using a lighting setup that gave more contrast would also help, like just positioning your main light source at more of an angle so your face has more definition/shadows. Just some ideas of how to keep each shot feeling fresh/interesting. I think that can be helpful especially when shooting on a DSLR. I thought your writing was super clever on the song, nice job.
