how important is a music visualization?

how important is a music visualization video to you? would you care if the clip would show a frequency bar or is a static image more fitting for a music-centered video?
 
Something moving goes a long way! Even if it's a loop or something along those lines it's better than just one image that won't keep anyone's attention. A while ago, I was wondering the same thing, so me and some friends shot a music video over two days and it's done vastly better than any of the stuff I had up with just an image.

I think what you are referring too is a frequency spectrum analyser sort of animation for beat videos and such !??!

If thats the case, I personally feel its way more attractive than a fixed image only. Content that moves to the sound is way more captivating than a still image with nothing going on.

I just started creating beat videos myself, and that was one of the few things I absolutely wanted in. So I looked up for tutorials and did it myself.

Frequency Bars over Still image ! ;)
