How does one find a music video director?

There are trials online of quite a few good video directors / makers

Heres a few for you to search up

Sony Vegas 10 to 12 ( Depending on what you want )
Adobe Audition
AVS Video Editor

youre misunderstanding. I am asking where people find professional music video directors. i dont want to make them myself, I just make the music

Start locally, if you have a college around you see if some kids are in a degree with a similar base. They'll want something to put on their resume and most likely do it for free.

It depends what kind of music-video you like. For animations, visuals or a lyric video, you can look everywhere. or write me. if its a video with youre band in it, i suggest you to find someone near your place....;-)

This is a difficult question, I'd suggest you look-up your local filmmakers and have them send samples of their work, and from this pool you choose candidates who you will meet and talk with, and keep eliminating candidates who don't fulfill your expectations until you are left with one who does.

i am music video director. what you need? if you want see my portfolio just go to youtube and search Fame & Flame. Our youtube channel is fameandflameofficial or search in google fame & flame.

I put an ad out on craigslist and ended up finding a few decent directors...just have to check their creds and look at some of their previous works to see if he/she will be a good fit for you!

Try writing 'Willem Serné Images'.
He's up and coming, therefore quite cheap.
The quality of his work however, mindblowing.

Always worth a shot, just google it.

I don't know what city you're in, but if you're not in a major metropolitan area, then I'd post a flyer at the closest college to you that has any sort of visual arts program or club. I've worked with some pretty creative directors over the years that were still in school. Of course they often lack the pre-production experience necessary to get your project done quickly AND within budget, but they usually worked very hard. If you're in a major city, do a Google search and then sift through their online project reels until you find one that jumps out at you.
