Hi,

I Have a song that I like (the first one I wrote in English) and like my all song it's some how turn to be sad.
So, I decide to take the same song and make it happy bay changing the music and the why I sing.

So, My equation is Do you think the lyrics have effect on if a song is happy or sad?
FOR Example - "Help" of the Beatles is I think a happy song with very sad lyrics...think about

My song at the moment:

lyrics:
All she said you and me
All she said meant to be
All she gave me reason to bealive
When she said she will never live

Where are you now
What are you doing to me
Where are you now

All she said hold me tiet
When we stay up all night
All she said trust in me
All I have Is what she said to me

Where are you now
What are you doing to me
Where are you now

The wind you feel I feel it to
The sky you see Is not just for you
We are on the same road Don't turn your head away
Maybe some day....

Where are you now
What are you doing to me
Where are you now

Tnx :)

NO YOU DONT HAVE TO CHANGE LYRICS. HOWEVER FOR A COMPLETE TRANSITION YOU MAY HAVE TO.

The most important thing to do is to change the movement and the try to sing in a different key, preferably in a MAJOR KEY, and not minor keys because those by nature already evoke a sadder feeling. The formula for a happy song would be,

1. upbeat
2. positive lyrics
3. major key
4. shorter notes, in the lyrics or the production.

for a song with sad lyrics just insert it into slot 2 and see how it goes.
