Credits on Music video

Hi everyone,

I am a dancer for a band and we are working with a film making company on a music video, which I am doing the choreography for. They want to put their credit/logo at the start of the video but the band and I don't want it to ruin the feel, and I don't see this on hardly any big name music video productions. What are people's thought on this? I don't want it to be an advertisement I want to be a work of art, but I know people want credit also and they deserve it, but I would be happier with it at the end or just in the description.

Thanks in advance

If you're paying them, I would think you get to decide all that. If they are doing anything for free (or some HUGE discount) then it seems like a common courtesy.
Sometimes logos at the start (especially if the look good or sound like a reputable company) adds to the official -ness of the video- so to speak.

You could compromise and throw it at the end.
You can cut more than 1 version of the video.
AND....could they make a logo/intro that matches your video's tone?
Lots of movie companies have been making logos that follow the vibe of the movie.
Warner Bros is great with this....

And yes, I agree, being in the notes should be enough.
