Im currently working on a range on projects, my camera of choice was the Canon XL1 i picked it up from ebay for 1500AUD...and its great.
If you are trying to indie music videos this is the camera, its not going to give you 50cent videos so calm down if your xcited. But this camera with a very creative director and good editing would give your professional music video worthy of television.
