So i was lookin at both Audio Interfaces, and Midi Controllers. I've already begun making stuff without the use of a controller, so I kind of feel i should skip that step for now and move straight to the audio interface. What do you guys think?

Midi controllers are useful when laying down tracks. But i would say an interface helps alot more with the overall production. Plus there is alot of latency when you dont have a decent interface and whatever you play on your controller can sometimes be off when you play it anyways because of it.
I don't use an interface and I got a USB key rig 49 no latency for me I dont even need to quantize either my brain is making up for it or im just that skilled I dunno been playing keys since I was 6 no piano lessons ever
Your alot more talented than me. I still have to quantize the notes AND i have nearly zero latency lol. It was alot worse for me when i didnt have a interface. But either way, if your gonna lay down vocals on your tracks or record from other instruments your gonna need an interface. You can always find a used midi controller for like $50 nowadays. Or even a new one for like $100.
I would choose the interface first.

Thanks for your feedback everyone. Probably gonna go with an interface. Lol.
Some people can get away with a qwerty keyboard and others can get away without an audio interface but I would not choose to work without either.
interface gets my vote too, especially if you know you're way around a piano roll pretty well
