The point of the post limit (which I think nowadays is just 5 - we've tried different amounts in the past) is to prevent spamming somewhat and encourage people to take part instead of just dropping their Soundcloud/Soundclick/website links and leaving, which is what a surprisingly large number of people did before this was set into place. 5 posts is nothing - go comment on other people's songs, post a question (preferably about something else than "why can't I post links?" ), and you're done in no time. I know the system is not ideal, but I don't think it's too bad.
