Honestly IMO if you ain't trying to mix in recent stuff that's a good recipe for getting nowhere fast.
If you want to do this as just a hobby and make a few bucks here and there fine, do whatever you want.
But if you're really trying to make a living, you need to start incorporating new elements.
And if you're trying to make a career, it's not "oh well I'm gonna make what I like because that's what I like and that's that".
If Ford did that, or Pepsi did that, or Apple did that, they'd be out of business in no time.
Real talk man. It's cool to have your own flavor, but u still have to serve a meal everybody eating bro. Great reply...

Yup, you need to at least try to keep up with the times. It doesn't mean that you need to start producing Dubstep or whatever is hot right now, but you need to evolve or get left behind.
