    I have and had the AKG Perception 220 ( link ) and it works magic for me. You could go to one of the artists I work with YouTube page and check out his songs to see what kind of quality it records. YouTube.come/neweratrax

    I use the AT4040 from audio technica, its about 300

    I mean im not a professional with sounds, but I have a blue spark for my first mic and it sounds fine to me

    The Blue Spark is a fine mic for the price. I'd go with a CAD M179 or an MXL mic.

    I'll be using it for hip hop vocals
