What's the best intro?

Hey guys,
I am currently having a lot of trouble with starting my progressive house track because I don't know what kind of intro I should do... Is it better to start off with the chords already and than the melody comes in or do I do a classic intro with a drum loop etc. AND THEN the chords comes on after a sweep down?

It depends and you can basically start it however you like. But to begin with, look for a EDM structure guide online and/or try to analyze the intro part of other producers' tracks.

Trust yourself and go with whatever sounds good to you. If the movement is good and the track is going further smoothly, it's all good then.
