if there's anybody who produces hip hop, particularly trap music, what are some good tips? and if you have any links to any tutorials that helped thatd be sweet

yeah haha if you can access the piano roll for high hats, go to the settings bar and appregiate (sp?) the one high hat into 32 or 64 high hats. That creates the really fast roll kind of sound for the hats. Pump the kicks and add thuggish/hype samples in key locations, and make that baseline hiiiittttttttttt! What program do you use?

all you really need are dope piano / brass / orchestra hit sounds and good set of drums... don't use stock invest in some trap drum kits

listen to some trap tracks
you will have the basic idea about the instruments used in a typical trap track and how a typical trap track sounds like in terms of mix
pay attention to how its mixed
different genre use different types of mixing styles
almost all the trap tracks that i have listened to use the 808 drumkit
hope this works as a pointer
